6 Holiday DIYs To Try With Beads

Wow, holiday's finally coming. I have lots of plans for crafts in all my free time. Of course, I would still make crafts with my favorite beads and beads and beads...lol~! So here, I collected some great beaded DIYs from craftgwaker. They're all funny to make! Can't wait to try them out~~~~

You may wonder why all colorful beads? Honestly, these crafts ideas all used my favorite glass beads, sequins and rhinestone beads. So if you love these sparkling beads like me, just give them a shot in this holiday!

DIY Simple Bead Earrings

6 days til Christmas, whoa! If you feel like making jewelry as gifts for your loved ones, I'd recommended this simple dangling earrings. It's beaded and twisted with red glass beads and electroplated seed beads. You'll need to thread 4 seed beads and make a loop, add another 6 seed beads, leave 2 of them in the middle and make a bead loop with the other 4. DIY Baby Headpiece

If you are an expectant mother, or you're already a mom now, I bet you'd love to make some cute accessories for your little angel.In this post, you'll get to know some DIY baby headpieces. I think the below pictures make up for the language barrier in explaining how to make this.

Wrap some flowers with ribbon or or cloth, glue them on a piece of comfortable fabric. (be sure the fabric length is close to your baby's head circumference.)

Or you can buy a piece of hair bands and wrap around soft cloth or ribbon to avoid hurting baby's head.

You can add some beads, like glass beads, sequins, rhinestones or glitters on the flower and headband to make it more shining.

And here, we have the holiday idea! Green and red ribbon flowers to coordinate with the coming Christmas!

Be ware if the headpiece is soft or comfort for newborn, or younger kids. However older children can try a little hard hair band findings which made of plastic, paper stick and so on.

DIY Wire Wrapped Christmas Ornament Wreath

 

Many of you tend to make Christmas wreath by your own. Homemade wreathes are beautiful, unique and meaningful. All family member can get involved to join this funny crafts. How happy! Here's an easy wire wrapped Christmas wreath for you to follow. I chose the classic holiday color of green and red for beads, wires and ribbon. If you love it, please follow to try it out! 

Supplies: 
Red ribbon
6mm firebrick pearl beads
Black aluminum wire
5mm green copper wire
5mm red copper wire
3mm green copper wire
Wire cutting pliers
(You can also add some cheap charms, like bells, snowflake, angel,etc. )

Step 1, Make the basic Christmas wreath pattern by wrapping wires as pictured show.

Step 2, Add beads with the green wire, and make a ribbon bow then fasten it on the wreath with red wire.
